Welcome to a scrapbooker's heaven! As featured on "Discover
Oklahoma",
Maple Place takes your fellowship and relaxation very seriously.
Scrapbooking Weekends at Maple Place are a pampering experience
beyond your wildest dreams. Weekends begin on Friday afternoons at
4:00.
The minute you and your group cross our threshold, you are officially
"off duty". Scrappers are not allowed to prepare meals, clean
dishes, or make bed a bed.
Your only job for the weekend is to enjoy your favorite hobby,
enjoy time with your friends, relax, eat and sleep. (Sleeping is
optional.)
Continue to scrap until evening on Sunday, if your family will let you
be gone that long. :)
Scrappers have the luxury of the entire Main House.
It is a ladies only weekend, so feel free to stay in your pj's all day
long!
In order to reserve a date on our calendar as a Scrapbooking Weekend,
it takes a minimum of 4 scrappers. A "full" weekend is 8
ladies--this will fill all of the beds in the Main House and The
Cottage. However, 6-7 is the optimal number, in order to preserve
your scrapping space.
The
living room is transformed into a work space with a length of table 20'
long.
Each scrapper will have their own chair, task light, and trashcan.
Additional tables will be set up for your extra supplies (ie-Sissix,
printers, etc.)
Your
weekend includes two nights' lodging in our beautiful guest rooms,
5 multi-course homemade meals, snacks and drinks of your request.
Weekends cost $150 per person, plus tax.
If you would like to guarantee a private guest room, contact Jennifer.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to save any spots in your
weekend.
So
what does "homemade, multi-course meal" mean?
